Artificial Intelligence (AI) Impact and Our Responsibility

AI is becoming increasingly powerful, and its development is currently in the hands of a small group of technologists. Max Roser, founder and director of Our World in Data, has highlighted the need for public engagement and resources to ensure the development of AI goes well.

He outlines the risks of AI and encourages reading The Alignment Problem by Brian Christian, as well as Benjamin Hilton’s article ‘Preventing an AI-related catastrophe’ to learn more about the risks of AI systems and how we can reduce them.

Roser believes public resources and attention are needed to ensure AI is safe and beneficial for all.

Powering SMB Transformation: CSPs’ Path to New Growth

Small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are essential to the global economy, contributing 70% of global GDP and employment. Communications Service Providers (CSPs) have an opportunity to capitalize on this market, but they need to understand SMBs’ unique needs.

The Accenture report summarizes that small and medium-sized businesses are embracing digital transformation and are looking for local support and pre-bundled solutions. They also need access to cloud and security solutions and prefer to use a single vendor. CSPs must provide continuous post-sales support to meet SMB needs.

This report is part of DigitalRosh’s Accenture collection, available on our website.
