1. Warning: Wall-E Scenario is One of Eight AGI Risks (CAIS statement)
AI experts and public figures express their concern about AI risk by saying “Mitigating the risk of extinction from AI should be a global priority alongside other societal-scale risks such as pandemics and nuclear war”.
As AI systems become more advanced and autonomous, they have the potential to cause catastrophic harm and pose existential risks to humanity. The Center for AI Safety refers to 8 types of risks: Weaponization, Misinformation, Proxy Gaming, Value Lock-in, Emergent Goals, Deception, and Power-Seeking Behavior.
The WALL-E scenario exemplifies enfeeblement, which is the 8th risk. In this scenario humanity became “Human Potatoes”, meaning disempowered and reliant on machines. These machines were also handed critical responsibilities. Preventing enfeeblement, more than any of the other risks is in our own hands.

2. Theory: The Dead Internet Due to Too Many Bots
The Internet is ever-changing, but over the past couple of years things have started to change. The proportion of bots is increasing. “The Dead Internet Theory” states that most of the internet is, in fact, AI bots. These bots have been unleashed to control the populous and rake in profits. But is it true? And if so, how much of it is true?

3. Report: What CEO Should Know About Generative AI
The goal of this article is to help CEOs and their teams reflect on the value creation case for generative AI and how to start their journey.
First, McKinsey offers a generative AI primer to help executives better understand the fast-evolving state of AI and the technical options available.
The next section looks at how companies can participate in generative AI through four example cases. These cases are targeted toward improving organizational effectiveness through an array of options across the technology, cost, and operating model requirements.

LangChain is a framework built around LLMs. It can be used for chatbots, Generative Question-Answering (GQA), summarization, and much more.
AI Jason demonstrates how he uses models such as Image text and text-to-speech from Hugging Face into his local machine. He also shows a no-code alternative named relevance AI, that lets you build end-to-end custom LLM apps and agents that you can share, use and run in bulk today.
