Leadership CONNECT: 20-JUNE-2025 (Y25W26)

Greetings, AI Thinkers,

What if One Memo Became Nine Formats?

In a world of endless content, clarity matters. Using AI (NotebookLM), I turned one memo into nine formats—mind map, podcast, Q&A, brief, and even interactive voice.

Same message, shaped for different minds. Here’s what I learned.

Happy Thinking,

Dr. Yesha Sivan and the MindLi Team

From One Talk to Many Touchpoints

One of the most impactful posts of this year was “CEO Guide — Five Steps for AI Use.” [1] Its success came from its practical value in helping leaders take clear, actionable steps with AI. A week ago, I had the pleasure of giving a talk on the same topic at the 50th anniversary conference of Adizes Institute Worldwide [2]. The content was the same, but the format was different.

This led me to rediscover the value of multiple formats. Different people have different preferred ways of consuming information—some are visual thinkers who prefer mind maps, others are audio learners who benefit from podcasts, and some prefer concise written briefs. To the rescue came Google NotebookLM, which I had already used to create short podcasts based on past analytical work.

The Output in Action

To see this in action, 10 minutes after uploading my original memo, I had:

  1. Podcast — A 12-minute audio summary [3].

  2. Interactive Mind Map — A simple visual summary of the paper, which fit the structure perfectly.

  3. 2-Page Brief — A bullet-point summary of key insights.

  4. Timeline of Main Events — Useful when chronology matters; less relevant in this case.

  5. Study Guide — A set of questions and answers to test understanding.

  6. Q&A — Organized questions and answers for deeper exploration.

  7. Interactive Podcast — Pause and ask questions by voice. The AI host answers and resumes.

  8. All in One Page — access it all here [4].

  9. Language Flexibility — Generate podcasts in multiple languages.

What an impressive showcase of AI’s capabilities—readily available, instantly useful.

Looking Ahead

  • Automation — One memo, many formats—instantly.

  • Personalization — The system knows your audience and adjusts accordingly.

  • Interaction Modes — Beyond reading or listening: speak, ask, explore.

  • Continuous Updating — Formats evolve as your source material does.

Now, all that’s left is to come up with good ideas—and let AI help spread them.
