Digital Leadership For AVRIL Executive by Prof. Yesha Sivan and Yoav Chelouche

Avril is an international French agro-industrial group, specializing in human nutrition, animal nutrition, renewable chemistry and renewable energy. Avril operates according to a model of integrated sectors, which is unique in the French and European agro-industrial business world. The group reinvests the profits, systematically, in the fields of agriculture. Its purpose is to ensure a fair distribution of added value to the entire network, between producers and consumers.
Avril is present in 21 countries and employs 7,600 people. In 2017, its turnover amounted to 6.2 billion euros.

In the middle of March 2022, about 30 senior managers from the Avril group arrived in Israel, headed by the company’s CEO. As part of the visit to Israel, we were asked to give them a lecture about digital failures. When asked how they came to us, a simple answer was received: “We entered Google and entered Innovation, Digital & Israel.”

During the lecture, which was delivered by Professor Yesha Sivan and Yoav Chelouche , the managers learned about the digital power and realized that on the way to success you fail quite a few times, and from every failure you learn.
