Conservation organizations have long used computer vision in many guises to help achieve conservation goals and monitor the impacts of their efforts. This presentation will describe many ways that the World Wildlife Fund (AKA the Worldwide Fund for Nature) uses computer vision to analyze imagery from camera traps, drones, satellites and other optical sensors. The talk will cover, successes and challenges as well as areas for future work.
