1. Research: Agenda Setting: Political Bias in LLMs
(Source: MEMRI & Otago Polytechnic)
A MEMRI report from June 2024 shows how neo-Nazis and white supremacists have historically been early adopters of new technologies to promote their agendas, adapting swiftly to advances from the internet’s early days to modern tools like AI. The report showcases how these technologies amplify their reach and anonymity.
At the same time, another research indicates that LLM models tend to hold left-of-center preferences and show liberal views.
This gap has led to the creation of AI systems with opposing conservative or even extremist biases, resulting in controversy and chaos.

2. Report: The Olympic AI Agenda
(Source: IOC site)
The Olympic games in Paris are over. As spectators, we were exposed to some of the technological aspects during the games. What we saw is only the tip of the iceberg of the possibilities, the technology at large and AI in particular, ahead of in sports.
The Olympic AI Agenda is the third in a trilogy of strategy documents launched under the leadership of International Olympic Committee President, Thomas Bach and presents the envisioned impact that artificial intelligence (AI) can deliver for sport.
While there have been stand-alone projects in different sports and different areas, there has been no holistic approach to exploring the great potential of AI while mitigating the risks.
The possibilities for the deployment of AI within sports represent a ground-breaking opportunity for the global accessibility of sport, aligning seamlessly with the IOC’s mission for solidarity and inclusivity.

3. Guide: Copilot Usage in the Workplace
(Source: Worklab, Microsoft)
Copilot Usage in the Workplace explores how companies are integrating AI, specifically Microsoft’s Copilot, into various business functions to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
This article specifies some scenarios where Copilot has been beneficial, demonstrating AI’s practical applications, and describes the following cases, including sample prompts used for these tasks:
- Product Development: Distilling complex information into proposals.
- Engineering: Creating workshop exercises for skill development.
- Finance/Accounting: Researching and understanding unfamiliar business units.
- Legal: Tracking document revisions for consistency.
- Marketing/PR: Brainstorming ideas for campaigns and promotions.
These varied use cases underscore AI’s ability to adapt to business needs. They suggest a future where AI is deeply integrated into daily work tasks, enhancing efficiency and innovation across sectors.

Culture: How AI is Reviving Hollywood Legends
(Source: The AI Chronicle)
AI technology is reviving past celebrities, enabling them to connect with modern audiences and generate new revenue streams for their estates.
Companies like ElevenLabs are using AI to recreate the voices and digital images of stars like Judy Garland and James Dean, allowing these icons to appear in new projects and introducing them to younger generations.
Under the “pros” column you will find new revenue streams, cultural Preservation, and Innovative Experiences. The “Cons” listed are ethical Concerns, rights, and Licensing, the potential for Misuse.
