Esti Peshin, VP Cyber Division, Israeli Aerospace Industries: Cyber Resilience

A fascinating lecture on cyber resilience – as a key to cyber security. Presented at the first Cyber Innovation Conference held online in November 2021.

In this lecture, Esti Peshin, VP and director of Cyber Division at Israeli Aerospace Industry – Elta (IAI) emphasizes the differences between cyber security and cyber resilience. She presents the current trends in cyber, the challenges, and the need for digital leadership.

The Covid-19 crisis, says Peshin, exacerbated the cyber threats and the challenges countries, organizations, and people are facing in maintaining the ecosystem in many – old and new – areas.

Cyber security is the protection of data and cyber resilience is the national ability to withstand cyber attacks and/or recover from them quickly. It is important for leaders and governments to recognize cyber as part of the global fight against the Covid pandemic, to recognize the threats, to adopt a participatory method (sharing knowledge and information between governments and organizations), and to achieve cyber resilience – cyber security while maintaining business continuity.

Esti Peshin participated in “DigitalRosh LIVE” on 02-Feb-2021 program Building Digital Dams – with Israel Aerospace Industries.
