It’s easy to advertise online. There is nothing simpler than uploading a photo to Instagram or Facebook, sharing a link on Twitter, sending a message on WhatsApp or Snapchat and even opening a blog and writing whatever comes to your mind. Sharing this information further is an even simpler action and the consequences of this simplicity can be devastating.
On the other hand, removing published information is more challenging. Sometimes just a little challenging, sometimes very challenging, and sometimes almost impossible.
The Ministry of Homeland Security, the National Headquarters for the Protection of Children on the Net and Safe Surfing published a guide containing a summary of the ways in which you can report to the various websites (social networks: Facebook, Twitter, etc.) about content that you think is inappropriate. Whether it is content you were exposed to by chance or whether the content deals with you directly – it is important to report accurately and in detail so that it is removed as soon as possible.
