1. AI in Healthcare: This Femtech Startup is Unleashing AI on Fetal Ultrasounds
Paris-based startup Sonio, led by founder and CEO Cécile Brosset Dubois, is utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance fetal ultrasound readings.
The Sonio AI technology is trained to quickly and accurately identify fetal abnormalities. Notably, Sonio’s AI is compatible with various sonography equipment from different manufacturers, eliminating the need for clinics to replace their existing machinery.
Early detection of birth defects is highly significant, with one in 33 babies in the US being born with a birth defect. Sonio’s AI aims to expedite the diagnosis of rare pathologies and reduce errors in readings.
After raising $14 million in Series A funding and receiving FDA clearance, Sonio’s software is already being used in Europe, India, Brazil, and Nigeria. The company is set to enter the US market in 2024, aiming to further improve global access and quality of care for women and children through artificial and collective intelligence.

2. Lawyer Co-Pilot: Robin AI – Transforming Contracts with AI Speed and Safety
Richard Robinson, CEO and founder of Robin AI, discusses the company’s mission to simplify contracts globally using artificial intelligence (AI).

4. AI Tool: Gmail is Reportedly Adding an AI Voice Feature
Google is reportedly adding a voice-activated feature to Gmail’s AI-assisted email drafting tool called “Help Me Write.” This feature, currently available in Labs, allows users to generate email drafts by entering written prompts. The upcoming addition may enable users to utilize voice prompts, as observed in the beta version of the Gmail mobile app.
Despite no official confirmation from Google, the inclusion of voice support suggests an imminent announcement, aligning with Google’s ongoing efforts to introduce AI-related features across its services, such as Duet AI for Google Docs and Sheets and the Circle to Search feature on Samsung devices.
