In our community meeting held on 30-May-2023 Prof. Yesha Sivan and Prof. David Perkins delved into the essential aspects of learning in the Age of AGI.
Following that we all answered a survey about 6 different learning concepts and learning methods. The 6 learning concepts that were discussed are:
- Learning Disposition
- Top of Mind
Arithmetic of Learning
- Distributed Learning
- Learning to Recall vs. Learning to Understand
- Learning Grit
After the survey, Prof. Sivan and Prof. Perkins lead a reflective discussion. The survey results were subsequently presented and thoroughly discussed, fostering a rich exchange of ideas and insights among our community members.
In conclusion, Prof. Yesha Sivan quoted John Dewey “The most important attitude that can be formed is that of desire to go on learning” which summarizes the event moto. The survey results are presented below.
