Profile Set-Up Guide

Welcome to DigitalRosh,

Below is a step-by-step guide with instructions for creating your profile:

Why should you do this?
Your profile allows you to present your areas of expertise, professional experience, and interests. A completed profile will allow other community members to connect with you for both business and social collaborations. Thus, we recommend filling out all the details.

How can you do this?
In the guide, each step can be done on its own.
Clicking on the step in the menu below will lead you to a detailed explanation of that step. We used two kinds of symbols:

 Orange question mark – you can hover over for an explanation
Orange link – hover over and a click will take you to the webpage


Follow these steps to set up your profile:

  • You can set up your profile in whichever order you prefer
  • You can click on each icon in order to get directly to the explanation

Step 1 - Where to set up your profile

Step 3 - Profile Picture

To update your profile picture, click on the small camera inside the white circle.

Adding a photo upgrades the profile and allows DigitalRosh friends to get to know you.

You can select a file from your desktop or drop the image file into the webpage.

You can add a profile picture by uploading an image from your personal computer.

You can add a profile picture by taking a picture with the computer camera.

Here you can crop your photo to the correct size and placement.

When you're done click on "Crop Photo" to save your profile picture.

Step 5 - Account Settings

In “Account Settings” you have the option to edit your account and view your account activity, this includes:

  • Your username and password
  • Notification preferences
  • Privacy settings
  • Group invitations
  • Exporting your account data

Your "Login Information" includes your ability
to change your password and to view your account's email address.

Enter your current password in order to change your email or password.

Change email address.

Change password.

Don't forget to click "Save Changes" when you're done.

You can click or unclick any of the blue checkboxes
in order to stop receiving notifications about this topic.

Click on "Request Data Export" to receive your data report.

Step 6 - Membership Settings

Here you can update your address, interests and a link for quick registration to DigitalRosh.
In addition, you can check your subscriptions, update them and view your payment history.

Here you can connect your profile to one or more of your social media accounts.

Here you can update your phone number.

Here you can insert your organization's name for invoices.

Here you can update your email address.

Here you can insert your position in your organization for invoices.

Don't forget to click "Save Profile" when you're done.

Step 7 - Timeline

The timeline shows your activity on the site - contacting friends, writing a post, etc.

Here you can share your thoughts and ideas with DigitalRosh members and companies.

Here you can choose who can see your posts.

Your post can be shown to the public, DigitalRosh's members, your connection, or only to yourself.

Step 8 - Connections

Here are the DigitalRosh members you are in touch with.

Here you can also see requests from other DigitalRosh members
who want to join your network.

Step 9 - Groups

Here are the groups you belong to on the website.

You can also see pending invitations you have
to join new groups.

Step 10 - Courses

Here you can see the courses you have signed up for.

You can also see the certificates you have received from your courses.
